You are invited to join the San Jacinto Model Railroad Club if you are an active model railroader or interested in becoming one. Meetings are the First Tuesdays of January through October, except in July when the first Tuesday falls on the July 4th holiday, then the meeting will be on the 2nd Tuesday. at the Bayland Community Center, 6400 Bissonnet. Meeting time is 7 to 9 pm. Visitors are welcome.
Please note that the "Derail" is the official monthly newsletter for the San Jacinto Model Railroad Club. It is sent via email to all club members before the next month's meeting. To access the "Derail" look at the Order Board (menu) on the left side of the screen and click the item "Derail". This takes you to the page where a .pdf version may be read or downloaded.
Our monthly programs consist of “how to do” clinics, slide shows and discussions on railroading. The San Jacinto Model Railroad Club sponsors the annual Greater Houston Area Model Train Show and the Fall Model Railroad Layout Tour. All scales, all gauges are welcome.
